Datron, a leader in military communications products, added the PPS7700 Pre/Post Selector and LPF7700 Low Pass Filter to their industry-leading 7700-Series Strategic HF Communications System. Datron systems are designed to US Navy requirements for demanding collocated environments, such as shipboard or command centre installations, requiring up to 16kW of transmit power. Datron can integrate a full suite of filters, power amplifiers, couplers, and external data capabilities to provide turnkey systems for worldwide HF network implementations.
Datron’s PPS7700 Pre/Post Selector provides 70dB rejection of interfering signals, flat response over 2-30MHz, and a 4 millisecond tune time. The LPF7700 Low Pass Filter also supports up to 16kW of signal power, and features low in-band insertion loss, excellent out-of-band isolation, and minimal passive intermodulation.

Leveraging Datron’s RT7700H JITC-certified software-defined HF transceiver, 7700-Series systems have proven interoperability with other certified ALE radios to meet demanding HF requirements now and in the future. The 7700-Series transceiver has been validated for LINK-11 compatibility to deliver maritime tactical digital information link (TADIL), and is IP-addressable for local or remote operation via Datron’s PC-based Virtual Remote Control Unit application.
Datron furthermore introduces its new SPECTRE V HH2100V ruggedised tactical VHF handheld radio. With the addition of the HH2100V to the SPECTRE V family of tactical radios, secure and flexible network communications operating over the 30-88MHz band are now extended to dismounted soldiers across the theatre of operations.

The HH2100V handheld radio is fully interoperable with the PRC2100V MANPACK radio supporting network configurations from command headquarters to dismounted soldiers in the field utilising the base station, vehicle mount, mobile and retransmit capabilities of the PRC2100V MANPACK.
Also on show is Datron’s Aeryon SKYRANGER SUAS. The next generation quad-rotor SUAS system from Aeryon Labs extends the category-leading capabilities of the SCOUT (also at DSA) with increased flight time, dual EO and IR payload, HD video, and extended flight range. Utilising the same touchscreen flight control interface and proven autonomous flight control software as the SCOUT, the SKYRANGER sets a new operational standard for SUAS platforms.
