iRobot has supported the DoD with UGVs for over 10 years. These robots, designed for bomb disposal, surveillance/reconnaissance and working with hazardous materials, are also ideal for missions involving police units, SWAT teams, law enforcement departments and first responders.
Recently, iRobot was awarded a contract by the government of Brazil to provide PACKBOT robots for public safety use at international events, including the upcoming FIFA World Cup and the Olympics.
iRobot has also worked with bomb disposal units across the US to assist in law enforcement and disaster response.
