BAE Systems has on 17 June briefed media on the CV90 and BvS10 armoured vehicles.
A new feature is the company's Q-SIGHT(r) helmet-mounted display device linked to a LEMUR weapon station on the CV90 ARMADILLO via the vehicle's electronic architecture. A soldier can control the direction of the LEMUR sighting system and weapon, simply by moving his or her head. The Q-SIGHT(r) provides vital auditory and visual information for split-second life-or-death situations, such as indicating the direction of an attack, so integrating these technologies from different parts of the business will provide battle-winning advantage.
