TEA Headset presents the Ops-Core RAC-1 (Rail Attached Communications) headset that incorporates a streamlined design for optimal comfort and true 3D hearing technology for hearing protection and improved situational awareness. Ops-Core is the producer of the ballistic helmet and the retailer, while the headset comes from TEA Headset.
The key features are:
Attaches to the rear portion of the ARCs leaving the top portion of the ARCs free for mounting lights, cameras, etc.
By coupling a patented ear simulator design with binaural audio and advanced audio processing the RAC Headset delivers hear-through audio that accurately preserves azimuth and elevation cues to provide situational 3D awareness.
In the event of battery power loss, the headset will continue to operate for communications with only the hear-through system not functioning. The system is IP-68 certified.
TEA Headsets is also the distributor for Invisio products. Present at SHOT Show was the brand new X5 next generation headset. Main differences to the older version are thicker cables for better strains and better formed soft spring at the earpieces. This product will be available from February on.

- Rotates back to the rear of the helmet when not in use, creating a very low profile–ear cups are not visible from front view when stowed
- Restores “natural hearing” with the outside environment for improved situational awareness while at the same time providing an NRR of 28dB for hearing protection
- Single-point gimbal attachment allows for 360° of adjustment instead of conventional adjustment systems–auto positioning to each individual’s ear/head shape
- Ear cushion is contoured to match the geometry of the head providing a better seal and proper attenuation
