AirDropBox Ltd. from UK is presenting a one-time use system that is specifically designed to enable the safe air delivery of humanitarian aid or to small groups like Special Forces. One goal was the significant lower cost than traditional systems. Because often the chutes can be recollected, this system is a one-way system, that can be burned directly in theatre without environmental hazards – thanks of the use of biodegradable materials.
The system will be available in four sizes: Micro (4 kg payload), Mini (20kg), Medium (200 kg) and Maxi box (1,000 kg). Micro and Mini are available, Medium in six month. The system comes complete with chute, load carriage and box with a load buffer to protect the content. The training can be conducted in 5 minutes. The company is also looking for a manufacturing partner.
