A wise man said: "I long time ago I, and others, said that air strikes alone would not resolve this situation; you cannot consolidate bombed territories with air offensives alone, as any army corporal will tell you.  It can only be done by boots on the ground and until NATO nations affected by this  misguided ideological terrorism form a united force, including Russia, this situation will drag on.  One has to wonder if any of our governments have ever read any military history."
