Cover all Europe is exhibiting its tailor-made building solutions for the first time during the Dubai Airshow. Speaking to MT, the company's managing director Sebastian Hünnekens explained that Cover all Europe GmbH used to be a subsidiary of the Canadian company Cover-All Building Systems. However, in mid 2010 the parent company was acquired by Norseman Structures and since Cover all Europe has been marketing its innovative building systems on its own behalf.
Certified according to DIN EN 9001 and DIN EN 1090 standards, which according to Hünnekens are perceived as, "a mark of quality across the globe," the German company's buildings are composed of steel parts covered by fabric certified according to the EN13501-1 fire classification of construction products and building elements. Service life of Cover all Europe's buildings is between 15 and 20 years with there being a 15 years warranty for the POWERTEC III fabric according to Hünnekens who said that his company also, "has an insulation package to deal with different climates."
Zinc coated for protection against corrosion, the building's steel parts are manufactured using fully automated robot welding. "Cover all Europe is the only one that uses this method as far as we know," Hünnekens said. Some of the advantages over hand welding cited by Hünnekens are the method's "high degree of precision" and the fact that robot welding allows the company, "to run a lot of steel through the plant," as robots can, "keep on going 24/7," which in turn helps Cover all Europe meet demand.
The company's product portfolio includes buildings which have widths anywhere from 6-95m with 70 different profile types being available. Easy to construct and disassemble, Cover all Europe's buildings can feature different types of foundations and gate solutions and can be delivered in numerous colour variants. The company's cost efficient SAS series buildings measure 6 to 9 m in width and are aimed at small construction projects while the LBS series are up to 30 m wide. The bigger Titan series can span from 10 to 95 m and form the basis of the company's product line of aircraft hangars. Buildings in this series can be partitioned, extended and combined with solutions from the other two series. Recent projects succesfully executed by Cover all Europe include the delivery of a 100m long building that is now used for training by the German army's EOD service while the United States Army Europe has received a number of buildings which were procured to upgrade facilities in Grafenwöhr and Hohenfels, Germany.
During DAS15, Cover all Europe can be contacted at the German pavilion at stand number 515.
