On 31 January 2015, Barco and Esterline announced the closure of the acquisition of Barco’s Defense & Aerospace division, encompassing the activities in the defence, aerospace, and training and simulation markets. Since then, the group formerly known as Barco Training and Simulation joined Esterline, and is exhibiting its broad portfolio of simulation visual systems on booth 2149.
Esterline Barco's TREALITY solutions include the RP-360, one of the world’s highest contrast and resolution, 360° rear projection displays, the company's CD-series a variety of large field of view collimated displays, and the mid-range SEER domes and the recently introduced TD-series, the company's family of transportable domes.
TREALITY's FD-series is a family of compact rear projection visual systems with full 360° immersion. The TREALITY FD-series deploy high contrast facet screens that have been designed to eliminate spurious reflections inside the visual system. This enhances the colour saturation and realism for day scenes and proves for very dark night scenes.
TREALITY provides a wide-range of simulation display systems for the flight training market. One of the industry’s best technology dome displays and collimated displays provide realistic and immersive training experiences for effective pilot training. TREALITY’s portfolio of displays is used to train: Commercial airline and helicopter pilots and military trainer, fast-jet, transport-jets and helicopter pilots. Smear-free, realistic daytime, nighttime, dusk and night-vision goggle scenes are displayed onto either front-projection or rear-projection screens depending on the customer’s requirements. TREALITY's display systems and projectors carry the highest levels of industry certification including FAA Level D certification on the company's collimated displays.
